Description

The primary purpose of this book is to share discoveries of characteristics and features of the four gospels that have not been seen in possibly seventeen-hundred years. It is the purpose of this book to show how this new information1 can help all readers of the four gospels to read them in the ways that the writers always intended. Besides this, we can know now what we are reading and the purposes of the writers that lie behind their productions.

Previously hidden evidence reveals that the writers possessed the skills of literary artists. They were also excellent writing technicians. But, supremely, they were writing from faith to faith and that cannot and must not be overlooked. They wrote with literary discipline, but over the centuries2 no gospel reader has understood this. Indeed, over all this time, no one has been able to recognise the skill-set they needed to do justice to these writers’ works. The reasons for this are many and we will give a little time to them, but what is promised, above all else in this book, is a participation in a New Testament reading revolution.
